'Beyond The Mirror' is a dream diary transformed into a modern, cosmopolitan story about four people from Ex-Yugoslavian countries coming together against the surrealistic background of Amsterdam. Two women in the quest for love. An overly educated, pampered loner and her nomadic friend as her trusted advisor. Two men, a controversial historian and an ex-drummer, unexpectedly appear after the girls perform a carelessly devised ritual resulting in all sorts of ill-conceived but humorous encounters. Is the way they meet in a foreign country accidental? They might have stumbled on something more ancient, stemming from the time hidden from their historical records. And what is the common thread underlying their interactions now that the country no longer exists for over a decade?
