The city of Rotterdam has received a lot of media attention, but until now there was not yet an existing travel book about the city in English. 'Discover my City, Rotterdam' by graphic designer and writer Guido Leurs is the first English language travel book about the city.
The book consists of 10 stories of real Rotterdammers with their local tips and must see places in town. There are beautiful walk and bicycle trails throughout the different neighbourhoods of Rotterdam. A must have for anyone that wants to know more about the city and its residents.
Guido grew up in Alphen aan den Rijn. At the age of 18, he moved to Rotterdam and fell in love with the city. Every week he went off, looking for the best hotspots. He was soon asked by his friends, who came to visit from abroad, to give them a tour of the city. He noticed that there was little information about the city in English so he decided to combine his passion and work. He wrote, designed and illustrated 'Discover my City, Rotterdam' so that everyone can enjoy the city as he does.
